Hi, I'm Tanya Farrugia

I hold an MA in Children’s Book Illustration from The Cambridge School of Art, where I developed my passion for visual storytelling. One of my most rewarding projects has been creating Moo D Cow, a character that became the focal point of both a dummy book and a nursery range (Little Moo). This project allowed me to explore my love for designing characters that connect with audiences of all ages.

During the Covid-19 lockdown, I combined my artistic skills with a focus on mental wellbeing to design and lead a range of drawing and painting courses. These programs helped individuals connect, express themselves, and find comfort during challenging times. Sharing the therapeutic power of art is central to my practice as both an artist and a teacher.

My work with major charities such as Faith Action (Creative English and Peaced Together), Community Resources and Lifeline Projects has allowed me to contribute to impactful teaching initiatives, blending art and education to make a difference.

Beyond illustration, I create fine art paintings in acrylics and oils and enjoy teaching drawing classes online, nurturing creativity in others.

Thank you for visiting my site! Whether you’re here to explore my work or learn more about my journey, I hope you find something that sparks inspiration.
