Landscape Artist of the Year 2026

In June 2025 I was selected from among 2000 artists to take part painting as a pod artist on my favourite programme, Landscape Artist of the Year.

The whole day was fantastic from start to finish. Story Vault Films were so friendly and attentive, making us feel completely at ease and enjoy an unforgettable experience.
It was wonderful to meet the judges Tai Shan Schierenberg, Kathleen Soriano and Eva Langret and presenter Stephen Mangan. They were all so warm and encouraging!

Meeting and sharing the experience with 7 inspiring and talented artists made the day extra special...@islepaint@petermorrisarchitects @thisisalicekwan

Also there were 50 Wildcard artists and friendly crowds which created such a good atmosphere.

Painting in the beautiful surroundings of St James Park was so relaxing, I would do it all over again!

My lovely husband David and son and his friend came along to support over the long (12 hour) hot day!

Winter Folk Exhibition, Solihull - Dec '25 - Jan '26

This exhibition is a culmination of artwork produced by 21 artists, including myself, who have taken part in a 'Get Galler Ready' Bootcamp at Solihull College.

The Winter Folk exhibition is curated by Ruth Millington - art historian, critic and writer and held at the Courtyard Gallery at the Core Theatre in Solihull.

You can see our work there from 12th December 2025 until 10th January 2026.
